HFA when to take photos

Once the case taking is finalized (and before you undertake any case analysis) take your camera and have your patient sit while you take their photos. Or you may have had the patient send photos to you (common with online clinics).

Some patients find having their photo taken an uncomfortable experience – usually because they are shy or even slightly suspicious of the process which after all (unless they are used to iridology) is not something they will have experienced before. As with all aspects of the consultation, it is your job to make them feel as comfortable and open as possible. It is also important that you get good quality photos, or your facial analysis may be incorrect. Once you are experienced, this process will take no more than a few minutes.

It is preferable that the patient waits in your waiting room while you determine which remedy will be best for them. However, if you only have the one available room, now is the time to offer a magazine, so you can download the photos and piece together the totality of the case. When you follow the Homœopathic Facial Analysis (HFA) procedure, the final analysis will take about 10-20 minutes – for the face and for the case.
