HFA taking correct photos

Instructions for taking correct photos can be found chapter 3, 11, 12 & 13 of The HFA Workbook

General instructions

• The patient must SIT
• The patient must hold their head STRAIGHT
• HAIR must be held back – behind ears
• PROFILES must be taken at 90 degrees – with the chin held LEVEL and the head STRAIGHT
• The camera operator must be at the SAME level
• The camera operator must take the image approx 1 m or 3 feet away (or image will distort)
