Tips

• Look at the skin on the face 
• If the skin is clear of freckles or small multiple pigment markings, there is no rating 
• Check whether there are a few freckles or many 
• Note – many people HAD freckles when younger – rate the feature AS IT IS NOW
• If the skin has been changed through cosmetic surgery rate the feature BEFORE THE CHANGE

In Appearance and Circumstance moles were rated as 1 red point. We no longer rate moles as they are more a pathology than a natural facial feature. If there are moles on the face, they will not rate. They may be added as a rubric if they are numerous but not as a facial feature.
